Youth Engagement: our life force & passion
Global Executive Board
About the Executive Board
At the core of our organisation stands the Executive Board, the body responsible for setting the strategic direction with the General Assembly and overseeing the day-to-day operations of the Movement and represent it internationally. Typically, the composition of the Global Executive embraces the global reach of our members, in featuring a vast diversity of expertise from different areas of study, gender, nationalities and previous professional experience. A unique property of leadership at JE Global is our entirely youth-driven & youth-led architecture.
The Global Executive operates on a one year, September to September mandate, disassociated from Global Director and Officer mandates. Selective procedures typically commence in late May with nominations during July and global elections taking place in August. Global Executives act as Departmental Supervisors, they work closely with Directors and Officers, and an array of dedicated volunteers and service providers from across continents, each entrusted with driving forward key areas of our mission. The Global Executive, together with the UN Representation, is the international face of the Movement.
Stepping up to lead takes courage and confidence. Youth are ready and able to lead & innovate in a world of rapid change.
