Junior Enterprises Global, or JE Global, is the international umbrella organisation representing the Junior Enterprise Movement worldwide. It connects national confederations, supports the development of the movement, and represents Junior Enterprises at the international level.

Local Junior Enterprises are student run companies based at universities, while National Confederations coordinate and support these organisations within a country. JE Global operates above the national level, ensuring international coordination, representation, and long term strategic development of the whole movement.

JE Global is governed through democratically elected bodies that represent the international network. Decisions are taken through formal governance processes defined in our statutes, with input and votings from members happening quarterly.

Yes, all of our staff are volunteers. We pride ourselves in being fully student run & youth run. All roles, from officers to executive leadership, are carried out by students and young alumni who contribute their time alongside studies or professional life.

JE Global is open to active Junior Entrepreneurs and, in certain roles, to alumni of the movement. For certain departments students outside of the movement are also able to apply. Opportunities range from project based involvement to elected leadership positions.

Global Directors and Global Officers are expected to bring strong Junior Enterprise knowledge, a collaborative mindset, and the ability to work in an international environment. Specific skills can also be learnt in our internal training programmes. Time commitments vary by role but generally require consistent weekly engagement of minimum 5 hours.

Yes, many people remain active in their local Junior Enterprise while contributing at the global level. JE Global involvement is designed to complement, not replace, local engagement. Solely our Global Executive is asked to step down from any other positions.

Alumni can stay engaged through mentoring, advisory roles, project support, or our Alumni Programme. Their experience plays an important role in strengthening the movement’s long term impact. Some Alumni will be asked to step into our Alumni Council to give even more structured input to JE Global’s day-to-day work.

Companies can collaborate with the Junior Enterprise Movement through partnerships, projects, events, and talent engagement at local, national, or international level. Founding a Junior Enterprise usually starts at university level with the support of existing Junior Entrepreneurs and, where available, a National Confederation.
