Brand Guidelines
JE Global retains the rights to various types of intellectual and industrial property. Find out more about how to acquire rights to use and reference our name in line with applicable guidelines and such intellectual property owned or licensed through Junior Enterprises Global.
Brand Governance
Junior Enterprises Global (JE Global) safeguards and governs the use of its name, identity and associated visual elements to ensure consistency, credibility and trust across the Junior Enterprise Movement. As the Global Confederation of a diverse, youth-led network operating across many jurisdictions, JE Global treats brand governance as a matter of integrity, responsibility and institutional clarity.
These Brand Guidelines set out the principles under which the JE Global brand and related identities are used, represented and protected.
Purpose of the Brand Guidelines
The JE Global brand represents a shared global identity built on ethical leadership, professionalism and public trust. These guidelines exist to ensure that all use of JE Global-related branding accurately reflects the organisation’s mission, values and role, and does not create confusion, misrepresentation or implied endorsement.
The purpose of this page is to explain how brand use is governed at global level. It does not replace detailed visual identity manuals or event-specific guidelines, which are issued separately where relevant for sub-brands etc. on a case by case basis.
Brand Ownership and Authority
Junior Enterprises Global is the owner of its name, logo and core visual identity. The JE Global brand may only be used in ways that are consistent with the organisation’s values, policies and governance frameworks.
JE Global retains authority over how its brand is represented in public, including in institutional partnerships, events, publications, digital platforms and external communications. Any use that suggests endorsement, affiliation or representation on behalf of JE Global must be explicitly authorised.
Brand Architecture and Sub-Brands
As part of its mandate, JE Global may establish, endorse or oversee programmes, initiatives, campaigns and events that operate under distinct names and visual identities. These sub-brands are developed to support specific strategic objectives while remaining aligned with the overarching JE Global identity.
Such sub-brands are governed through dedicated guidelines approved by JE Global, which define their scope of use, visual rules and authorisation requirements. The existence of sub-brands does not dilute or replace the JE Global brand, but operates within a clearly defined governance framework.
Reference Standards for the Movement
JE Global’s Brand Guidelines serve as reference standard for the Junior Enterprise Movement. National Confederations and member organisations are encouraged to align their own branding practices with these principles, while remaining compliant with local legal requirements and internal rules.
JE Global does not impose uniform visual identities across the Movement. Instead, it provides a normative framework that promotes coherence, mutual recognition and responsible public representation at global level.
Use by Partners, Members and Third Parties
Partners, sponsors, institutions and third parties may only use JE Global branding, or branding related to JE Global-endorsed initiatives, in accordance with explicit authorisation and applicable guidelines. Members may use JE Global’s logo and branding in alignment with these guidelines and in adherence to its non-political and non-religious orientation for purposes in line with JE Global’s mission.
Brand use by third parties must never imply endorsement, sponsorship or institutional alignment beyond what has been formally agreed. Where required, disclaimers, co-branding rules and liability provisions apply.
Governance, Oversight and Compliance
Brand governance at JE Global is closely linked to its broader policy framework, including the Code of Conduct, Confidentiality and Trust Statement, and Whistleblowing mechanisms. Misuse of branding may constitute a breach of organisational standards and may result in corrective measures or withdrawal of authorisation.
JE Global reserves the right to review, amend or withdraw brand permissions where use is inconsistent with its values, policies or reputational interests.
Brand Reservation Clause
All rights to the Junior Enterprises Global name, logo, visual identity and associated marks are expressly reserved. Junior Enterprises Global may develop additional brands, sub-brands, programmes, initiatives or visual identifiers over time.
The absence of any name, logo, programme or initiative from this website does not constitute a waiver of rights, nor does it imply that such elements are unprotected or unauthorised. No rights or licences are granted by implication through the publication of this page.
Unauthorised use, reproduction or modification of JE Global branding, or any branding governed by JE Global, is not permitted.
