In the heart of Florence—a city synonymous with Renaissance thought, collaboration, and innovation—over 350 Junior Entrepreneurs from around the world came together for the Junior Enterprises World Conference 2023. Held in September 2023, the event once again affirmed the global character, energy, and ambition of the Junior Enterprise Movement.
Organised under the leadership of Junior Enterprises Italy, this year’s JEWC brought delegates from over 30 countries to share ideas, explore collaboration, and reflect on the ever-evolving role of youth entrepreneurship in addressing global challenges. The atmosphere was electric, the conversations sincere, and the impact far-reaching.
A Platform for Connection and Leadership
JEWC 2023 offered an immersive experience: keynote addresses from leading voices in business and policy, interactive workshops on innovation and sustainability, and regionally focused sessions designed to strengthen ties within the network. But more than the programme, it was the human connection—the shared sense of purpose—that defined the event.
Participants returned home not only with new insights but with renewed energy to lead, build, and inspire through their own Junior Enterprises. From Africa to Europe, Latin America to Asia, this conference served as a reminder that while the JE Movement is locally rooted, it is globally united.
